Roshan Mathew is the Clinical Nutrition Manager at the Trump Pavilion for nursing and rehabilitation. Her team of registered dietitians promotes the health and well being of every resident by offering customized and well-balanced meals, ongoing nutrition education, and honoring individual food preferences whenever possible.
A Registered Dietitian since 2001, Roshan holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Syracuse University where she graduated Cum Laude and was an officer and/or member of three highly-regarded honors societies. She is currently finishing her Masters in Nutrition and Exercise Science at Queens College in Flushing, New York, and expects to graduate in May of 2010.
Roshan brings extensive experience in nutritional intervention planning and medical nutrition therapy to the patients at Trump Pavilion. She has worked as a dietitian and in a wide variety of care settings, and specializes in designing and implementing nutrition strategies for older adults. A Board Certified Gerontological Nutrition Specialist, she works one-on-one with residents, helping them to enjoy a better quality of life both during and after their stays at Trump Pavilion.
Prior to accepting her position at Trump Pavilion, Roshan spent a year at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, where she completed her clinical nutrition internship. She frequently acts as a clinical consultant to nursing homes throughout The State of New York. Roshan is also a Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist and is a member in good standing of The American Dietetic Association.
